Masterson’s Tavern , situated in the center of Moonee Ponds , markets itself as a trendy “hipster” hangout , but my recent visit at this establishment resulted in an experience I’d rather forget . While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I discovered behind its threshold was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.
The Condition of the Premises : Filthy and Neglected Beyond Belief
From the moment I entered , it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority at this bar . The surfaces were tacky , and a overpowering stench of stale beer and dirty bathrooms permeated the entire pub. Smelling a mixture of excrement , decay and sickness .
